Hinn prophezied that all homosexuals
would die by fire in 1995 - didn't happen.
Crosswalk.com
- New website about Benny Hinn..
Among Benny Hinn's false prophecies included one that God
would judge all the homosexuals by 1994. Since they have obviously
not repented, I don't think it falls into the same category
as the "failed prophecies of Isaiah and Jonah."
The so-called failed prophecies of Jonah
actually came true if you know Hebrew and realize that the
word for "overthrown" can also mean "inverted"
and such Ninevah was, the city was inverted by it's repentance.
Even so, approximately 100 years later Ninaveh was destroyed
as once prophesied it would be, and for the same reasons.
Read Nahum.
---------------------------------------
Answer:
Hey where do you read that those were conditional calls? I
don't see it in Bible. Here it is.
Jonah 3:4 And Jonah began to enter the city on the first day's
walk. Then he cried out and said, "Yet forty days,
and Ninaveh shall be overthrown!"
Plain and simple no strings attached. The
period of Forty days was specific that Ninaveh was going to
be history that's all.
Here is what happened after forty days.
Jonah 3:10 Then God saw their works, that they turned from
their evil way; and God relented from the disaster that He
had said He would bring upon them, and He did not do it.
Pretty clear huh? "God did not do it".
God did not do what he said that Ninaveh would be overthrown
in forty days.
Sorry dude, Jonah didn't say it will
happen after 100 years. And don't you think that if Benny
Hinn's prophecies come to pass after 100 years he should still
be true prophet? Will you be there to check it out after 100
years? if yes why don't we talk about false prophecies of
Benny Hinn after 100 years? remind me in year 2104 and hope
we will be able to see that those prophecies are fulfilled
How you know that those
homosexuals about whom Benny Hinn said didn't repent? I do
hear that many homosexuals are repenting every day and there
are many others who are turning to it too.
--------------------------------------
Note:
So do you think even that if homosexuals would repent still
God would destroy them? No!!! As we read in Jonah people of
Ninaveh repented and God spared them and they did not die.
He can do the same thing with homosexuals too. Even Bible
says about the most wicked king Ahab that when he repented,
God's heart melted toward him. Anybody can call upon the Lord
and could escape from punishment of hell. The prophecies could
change because of many reasons, even God can change those
prophecies as in the case of Jonah, Ahab, Moses and many other.
That does not mean that prophecy is false or prophet is false.
Ahab was a very wicked king.
1 Ki 16:30 Now Ahab the son of Omri did evil in the sight
of the LORD, more than all who were before him.
God's word came to Elijah about Ahab saying how horrible things
will happen to him becuase of his wickedness.
1 Ki 21:17 Then the word of the LORD came to Elijah the Tishbite,
saying,
1 Ki 21:19 "You shall speak to him, saying, 'Thus says
the LORD: "Have you murdered and also taken possession?"
' And you shall speak to him, saying, 'Thus says the LORD:
"In the place where dogs licked the blood of Naboth,
dogs shall lick your blood, even yours." 1 Ki 21:21 'Behold,
I will bring calamity on you. I will take away your posterity,
and will cut off from Ahab every male in Israel, both bond
and free.
1 Ki 21:24 "The dogs shall eat whoever belongs to Ahab
and dies in the city, and the birds of the air shall eat whoever
dies in the field."
Ahab repented and God relented from harming him. Prophecies
can change if a person repents.
1 Ki 21:27 So it was, when Ahab heard those words, that he
tore his clothes and put sackcloth on his body, and fasted
and lay in sackcloth, and went about mourning.
Now what God did when Ahab the wicked king repented? Did God
ignore it? No God is a God of mercy. He heard the cry of Ahab
and said, "I will not bring the calamity in his days."
1 Ki 21:28 And the word of the LORD came to Elijah the Tishbite,
saying,
1 Ki 21:29 "See how Ahab has humbled himself before Me?
Because he has humbled himself before Me, I will not bring
the calamity in his days. In the days of his son I will bring
the calamity on his house."
Yes prophecies can change if a person repents. God can spare
homosexuals if they repent and turn to God. If they repent
and come to Jesus they can be got saved and they can get a
place in heaven. Changed prophecy does not mean that prophet
is false. Prophecy of Elijah toward Ahab changed. That did
not make Elijah a false prophet. Bible has many such examples
where prophecies changed or were delayed in the fulfilment
of it. It does not make a prophet false.
If a person is contradicting Bible in any way then he/she
could be a false prophet. But if a person is speaking the
things from Bible and it does not contradict Bible in anyway
then you cannot call that man/woman as false teacher or false
prophet. Yes if you do not have Bible knowledge or have never
read Bible and do not know what is in the Bible it is very
easy to call somebody as false. If you are following some
theology or a doctrine of a man rather than Bible, then you
could easily fall in the trap and you could call a true prophet
of God as false.

..his claim that Jesus would physically
appear with him on stage at a crusade in Africa
When Benny Hinn was visiting Africa a
few years ago, he predicted that Jesus would appear on the
stage with him. I don't remember the specifics of that particular
prophecy, but it was unbiblical anyway.
Jesus said when He comes again it will
be the once for all, and everybody will know it. Remember
what he said "If someone says 'Look, he's out there in
the desert! He's not going to single out a special few to
get a sneak preview of the second coming.
---------------------------------------
Answer:
Jesus does appear to people in some
of the meetings. One of them I know about is a preacher in
India named Dr. D.G.S. Dhinakaran and in his crusade several
people saw Jesus. Dr. D.G.S. Dhinakaran himself sees Jesus
on the stage when he preaches. So that's nothing so special.
----------------------------------------------------------
Acts 9:17 And Ananias went his way and entered the house;
and laying his hands on him he said, "Brother Saul, the
Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came, has
sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with
the Holy Spirit."
Jesus appeared to Ananias. According to you Ananias was a
false prophet because he is saying that Jesus was there on
the road of Damascus.
Paul is also a false prophet because he saw
Jesus? Disciples of Jesus also false prophets because Jesus
appeared to them after resurrection.
All these appearances were after Jesus
spoke in Mat 24:23 "Then if anyone says to you, 'Look,
here is the Christ!' or 'There!' do not believe it."
You must read the Mat.24:23 with its
context. That verse is spoken in the context of Jesus' second
coming not in the context of Jesus appearing to people as
we read in Mat 24:27 "For as the lightning comes from
the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming
of the Son of Man be."
You read it out of context and that's
what you get. You end up declaring, Disciples of Jesus, Paul,
Ananias and others all false prophets.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Note: Jesus
could appear before people even today also because He is unchanging
God. Bible says, Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday,
today, and forever.
Jesus appeared before Paul (Saul) on the way to Damascus.
It was not second coming of Jesus.
Acts 9:3 As he journeyed he came near Damascus, and suddenly
a light shone around him from heaven. Acts 9:4 Then he fell
to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, "Saul,
Saul, why are you persecuting Me?" Acts 9:5 And he said,
"Who are You, Lord?" Then the Lord said, "I
am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you
to kick against the goads."
Jesus appeared to Stephen when he was stoned to death. It
was not the second coming of Jesus as forum people describe.
It is not unbiblical. How can you call it unbiblical?
Acts 7:55 But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into
heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the
right hand of God, Acts 7:56 and said, "Look! I see the
heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand
of God!"
If Jesus appeared then, then why not now?
