God does not promise us riches
on this earth but in Heaven. Any other reading into it is
wrong. We are to despise the things of this world and build
our riches in Heaven.

If you think that Bible is against prosperity
then why you are sitting in a good home with a computer and
Internet connection? Why don't you go and live in slums without
electricity, without fridge, without a computer, without having
basic facilities of life. Implement your theology on yourself
first otherwise you are a hypocrite and a false prophet yourself.
Did you ever try for a better job? Why don't you try for the
lowest job on the earth? If you have tried for a better job
means you are going against the will of God which is in the
Bible according to your theology. And going against the will
of God is sin.

Is Prosperity teaching wrong?
No, Bible speaks about many who
were very rich.
Abraham was very rich.
Here are verses that tell you how rich Abraham was.
Gen 13:2 Abram was very rich in livestock, in silver, and
in gold.
Gen 13:6 Now the land was not able to support them, that they
might dwell together, for their possessions were so great
that they could not dwell together.
This richness was material not spiritual. He was so rich that
the land was not sufficient for him to hold his livestocks.
David, Solomon, Joseph, Isaac, Esther and many others were
also very rich according to Bible. If it was sin God would
have kept them as poor and in misery. So your point that God
does not promise us riches in this world is totally wrong.
Yes, if you are making money with wrong methods then it is
wrong. Otherwise having money and good home is not sin.
Look at the life of Solomon. He did not ask for riches and
wealth but God gave it to him.
1 Ki 3:13 "And I have also given you what you have not
asked: both riches and honor, so that there shall not be anyone
like you among the kings all your days.
1 Ki 10:7 "However I did not believe the words until
I came and saw with my own eyes; and indeed the half was not
told me. Your wisdom and prosperity
exceed the fame of which
I heard.
1 Ki 10:21 All King Solomon's drinking vessels were gold,
1 Ki 10:23 So King Solomon surpassed
all the kings of the earth in riches and
wisdom.
Read the book of 1king if you have never read it before you
will find how rich Solomon was and how magnificently he built
his house and temple of God. You'll forget to talk against
prosperity. We don't need rotten theology of some minister
who do not know what is in the Bible.
Prosperity is not sin in the sight of God. It is the people
who made theology that riches is sin. If you are following
people then it is good for you. Follow their theology and
stay as poor, may be sell your house, car and all the luxurious
items and live as homeless in streets. If you are living in
nice homes and riding your own car then you need to repent.
Otherwise you are standing against God according to your own
theology.
